Described early in his career as “The Beethoven of beatboxing,” The exclusive sound of Vid Warren takes by storm every audience that goes to see him.
This is undoubtedly a step beyond what’s coming next. Rearranging styles such as hip-hop, jungle and folk into something that is very much his own, Vid’s music has awed entire stage areas at numerous festivals across the country, including WOMAD, The Big Green Gathering, Sunrise Celebration, Waveform and Shambala.
Tasteful and groundbreaking, complex and accessible, you can expect to hear influence from producers such as Squarepusher and Amon Tobin within passionate live performance.
"Enormous props to Vid Warren who is seriously the most entertaining beatboxer I've ever, EVER, EVER met!" Anthony Ashfield - Forum Manager of: www.HumanBeatbox.com
"Absolutely brilliant, go and see him." Sophie Oliver - BBC Radio Bristol
"When you get down, you always put music on in the background, right? You can't get down without music, man." From 'James Brown - Hairdryer Industry Project'.
